Specific Activities
Technology Transfer Models
Objective
A cross-cutting training activity aimed at students acquiring knowledge of how to implement the transfer of knowledge and innovation. Basic laws on I+D+i. Protection of industrial and intellectual property. Technology transfer strategies: art. 83 of the LOU, operating licenses, spin-offs

Students will write an essay on technology transfer linked to their PhD thesis topic, which will be incorporated into the doctorand activities document

Lectures by Experts in the Field
Objective
Attendance at conferences or seminars given by experts in the field. Students must attend at least 10 conferences, which will be incorporated into the doctorand activities document

Attendance at Courses (seminars, tutorials, summer schools,...) of Interest (as determined by the Academic Committee)
Objective
Attendance at courses on Chemical Science and Technology. Students must attend at least 45h of this activity, which will be incorporated into the doctorand activities document

Attendance at a Technological Developers Course
Objective
A cross-cutting training activity aimed at students attaining skills for undertaking the technological diagnosis of a product/company, the preparation of innovative projects, and the search for and management of funding sources to enhance I+D+i strategies for companies. More specifically, the course will focus on students acquiring knowledge of business innovation strategies and public I+D+i policies, and learning how to write applications and manage I+D+i projects
