Interdisciplinary and specific educational activities
PhD studies foresee a number of cross-training activities and specific-training activities. They are enumerated as follows:
Cross-Training Activities
- (T1) Communication skills in English: Written and Oral expression (Module I).
- (T2) Entrepreneurship
- (T3) Communication skills in English: Written and Oral expression (Module II).
- (T4) Ethics and integrity in scientific research.
Specific-Training Activities
- (E1) Review of the state of the art research theme
- (E2) Models of technology transfer
- (E3) Attendance to research seminars
- (E4) Preparation and presentation of a scientific communication
- (E5) Research stay at another center
60h of cross-training activities are compulsory for students enrolled before the academic year 2015/16, as well as activity E2. For students enrolled on year 2015/16 and afterwards, cross-training activities and activity E2 are optional. Activities E1, E3 and E4 are compulsory in any case. Activity E5 is optional also in any case.
